Omidi Brothers Provide Support for Youth in South Los Angeles

Omidi Brothers Dr. Michael and Julian Omidi know that many people are struggling in poverty. That is why Omidi Brothers Michael and Julian founded a non-profit organization to aid those in need wherever and however they may be suffering.

Those living in South Los Angeles (formerly known as South Central) deal with many hardships related to poverty, including violent and drug-related crime. The importance of programs and charities for these disadvantaged youth cannot be stressed enough.

Luckily there are charities and organizations like the Foundation for Second Chances, which my brother Julian and I are now supporting through No More Poverty. The Foundation for Second Chances is an organization that has grown by leaps and bounds since 2004 to serve more than 1,500 children in the area annually.

The Foundation for Second Chances has many different programs that serve to increase the opportunity these children have in their lives to succeed. From mentoring and tutoring to after school and community service programs, Foundation for Second Chances is improving the quality of life for the children in South Los Angeles.

The after school program offered by FFSC provides not only a safe place for these children after school has let out but also provides personalized attention and creative lesson-planning to enrich the education for these youth outside of their classroom.

We encourage the efforts of this amazing organization but also your involvement. Foundation for Second Chances could use your support and interest whether through a donation or just by spreading the word about them to your friends and family, which you can easily do using social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. Please get involved and help spread awareness about this great organization.
